Devil daggers flashing screen1/31/2024 Perhaps the final resolution could take information from the depth buffer in count, no idea if that would look good or weird, etc. The developers could try to implement Pannini projection which is apparently better than perspective projection for high field of views I don't know if any of these would help but I think it's worth trying out I've had a few ideas on how these issues could possibly be resolved. In most games, this is okay and can be offset with better aim but in Devil Daggers, you change target over and over again, quickly and repeatedly, which puts a far greater strain on the wrist When you look far in the distance, due to the low final resolution, there is far less pixels to represent the information at the center of the screen and it creates a large amount of distortion. But I believe I may have noticed some interesting properties of a high field of view with Devil Daggers (120 FOV) It lets me see much more and I am much more aware of my surrounding. I always just crank up the FOV to the max whenever games let me do that and be done with it. It just feels "easier" at 75 for lack of a better word, even though I much prefer playing at 120. So I decided to move it back to 75 and although it feels very weird, slow, and limiting, I've actually consistently came close to my high score. I tested Devil Daggers now, and it has a 1:1 ratio between horizontal and vertical. Armed with versatile magic daggers and a fluid movement system, fight to survive as long as you can. I assumed that Sojk played at 120 as well since it lets you see so much more but having been on his stream recently, I realized that is not the case and he still plays at 75. Inspired by 1990s FPS and arcade games, Devil Daggers is a fast-paced shooter that places you in an abyssal arena to face endless legions of demons. Initially, it went very well and my current PB that is in the 300s was achieved with the FOV at 120. Players are tasked with surviving for as long as possible against swarms of demonic enemies on an arena shrouded in darkness. I've played with the FOV at 120 since the release of update 2 and recently, have had trouble getting even close to my pb. Devil Daggers is a firstperson shooter video game developed and published by indie development team Sorath. If I reduce the monitor's resolution to 1920 x 1080, the game launches, but I black, flashing frames a few times a second, as OP described. Or I believe so at least, I don't recall there ever being a FOV slider before that or I would have already set it to the max when I first picked up the game. When I launch Devil Daggers, my PC crashes to a blue screen. In the latest update which brought us 2 new monsters and a new hand upgrade, a FOV slider was added.
